It’s that time of year. Temps are warming, and its time to check your wardrobe readiness. A good purge of the closet is so fulfilling. It’s the perfect time to take a look at your spring/summer items and really consider what you actually wore last year, what is simply “worn out”, and what you need to get rid of.

One thing I find every year is that my “white” t-shirts (which are a staple) are maybe looking a little dingy or just worn out. You don’t have to spend a lot of money, but investing in a few well fitting white t-shirts is worth the effort. They are great alone, with shorts or jeans, and you can dress them up with cardigans or spring jackets. They can really expand your wardrobe.

In addition, everyone needs a great pair of white jeans (cropped or full length). White jeans are so versatile depending on the top and shoes you pair with them. They are my “go to” for when I need to look “put together” but also want to be comfortable and cool.

Let’s not forget the little black dress. I have several that can be either dressed up or worn casually with sandals. You will never regret adding another one to your collection.

Lastly, adding a great pair of sandals “seals the deal”. Since I live in the South, my sandals are worn often and by the next year they “look it” too. I usually stick with a neutral color or black because they can be worn with pretty much everything.

So…. cleaning out and getting ready to Spring shop!!
