I really love this quote because, for me, Christmas has always been a time to stop and reflect on the previous year. What has gone well? What can I improve?

I hope that you will also take time to assess all that you have to be thankful for and set new goals that will stretch you in the year ahead.

  1. Beautiful piece, Leigh. We all look back on the entire year during the holidays- or at least I do. And there have been great years and not-so-great years. 2021 wasn’t bad but wasn’t the best for me. I realize that for many other people. it was a lot worse due to Rona. And I had a mediocre year, I’m thankful for the positives in it because it could’ve been a lot worse. At the same time, I pray for the people who lost jobs, careers, livelihoods, loved ones- people who are hurting. Wishing you and yours a very happy and prosperous New Year! 🎉🕊

    1. Cherie, thank you so much for your sweet comments. I cannot tell you how much I appreciate your encouragement. And yes, I agree that we all likely have a new normal due to “the Rona”. My year certainly had some unexpected ups and downs, but I am also thankful for where I am now and will keep moving forward and trying to share some hopefulness with others. Wishing you and your family a blessed and prosperous New Year in 2022! Besy Wishes! Leigh
