Have you ever stopped to take the time to really think about what you believe about yourself. We must recognize that who we are and what we do are two different things. When you see yourself as having value, worth and purpose, then others will see that as well. Don’t expect others to see you differently than how you see yourself.

  1. “Don’t expect others to see you differently than how you see yourself.” WOW – that’s such a powerful statement Leigh! You make such a great point, because just as we teach people how to treat us, we can also subconsciously teach them how to see us…. If we believe in ourselves, others are much more likely to believe in us as well. Thanks for the reminder that I need to remember. Blessings to you!

    1. Thank you Terri! It is amazing how much power we give away with negative words and thoughts about ourselves. Here’s to having balanced and positive views of ourselves!🥰 Best Wishes! Leigh

  2. This statement is worth sitting with for a while and really considering all the nuances of how we present ourselves to the world. And it starts with how we value or perceive ourselves. Profound Leigh. Love this. Hugs, C

    1. Oh thank you Cheryl! I agree that there is tremendous power in how we perceive ourselves. A balanced view is key, but if we don’t believe in ourselves, who will? Thanks for taking the time to read and comment, I always appreciate your comments! 🥰

  3. I love that statement “Don’t expect others to see you differently than how you see yourself.” People often do see you differently than how you see yourself – as in ‘better’ than you think you are – we are too hard on ourselves. But imagine the power of projecting your better self. Wow!

    1. Ooo Sandra, I love your perspective on this. And yes, I am guilty of being too hard on myself. Thanks for sharing your thoughts and here’s to believing and being our best selves! Best Wishes! Leigh

  4. Believe in yourself is powerful command to give. This especially rings true when things don’t go the way we plan them. I have so many stories to tell how believing in myself made a difference in my life. That’s why I am so passionate about my work as a life coach and every other role in my life.

    Thank you

    1. Sharon thank you so much for your comments. I completely agree that our thoughts and words, especially about ourselves, have a powerful impact on how we live and respond in our lives.
